Steps to Get Started

College in the High School Application and Enrollment Process

A Skagit Valley College representative may visit classes eligible for CHS to assist students with the enrollment process. High School Teachers will notify and remind students of college enrollment dates and deadlines. The student enrollment process is outlined below. 1

1. Apply

Apply through the Online Admissions Application Portal (OAAP) here: Go to https://apply.ctc.edu/user. You can find instructions for the College in the High School application selections here. Please use your personal email address to apply, not your high school email address.

 

2. Activate Your ctcLink Account

Once your application has been processed, you will receive an email with your ctcLink number (which is your college student ID number). When you receive your ctcLink number, you are ready to activate your ctcLink account. You can find instructions on how to do that here: https://shorturl.at/pCHO9.

 

3. Register for College Credit

Registration for first semester and yearlong CHS courses will open on November 15. Instructions will be posted closer to that date.
