New Student Registration
The mission of the New Student Registration is to welcome, support, and prepare you as you begin your journey as a Skagit Valley College student.
What Can You Expect
You may arrive any time between 12-6pm in person or 9am-1pm via Zoom. However, for our advisors to get a better sense of how many students will be attending during the day, please RSVP below based on a timeframe that works best for you. Registration will take an average of 2-4 hours. During registration, you will:
- Learn how to navigate the ctcLink student portal
- Register and pay for classes
- Learn about funding options and how to access benefits
- Connect to student support services and resources
- Access your MySVC email account

If you are planning to take only one or two classes at SVC with no intent to enroll in additional quarters, please stop by Enrollment Services on the Mount Vernon Campus or Whidbey Island Campus during our regular hours for registration assistance or contact enrollment@skagit.edu to schedule a Zoom session. Students who register remotely will be required to turn on their camera and present photo ID.

New Student Registration Dates
Fall 2024 Cardinal Kickoff and Convocation
Join us on Monday, September 23rd for Cardinal Kickoff and Convocation to welcome you to the new academic year. Convocation will feature music and drumming performances, as well as welcoming remarks from Claire Peinado, Vice President for Student Services, and Darren Greeno, Vice President of Academic Affairs.
After Convocation, stick around for Cardinal Kickoff which includes free food, swag, and a Clubs and Resources Fair!
