Verification Requests


Skagit Valley College (SVC) provides verification of the following upon request:

  • A student’s current enrollment status for a specified term
  • A student’s past enrollment terms
  • A student’s degree or certificate completion
  • A student’s current non-enrollment status for a specified term
  • A student’s non-attendance at SVC

Students


  • Students may request a verification letter for free by completing a Verification Request Form and emailing it to enrollment@skagit.edu. They may also drop off the form in-person at Enrollment Services. Verification Request Forms are processed within 3-5 business days, and a verification letter is sent to the recipient using the method selected on the form.
  • Students may request a digital enrollment or graduation verification certificate via Parchment. The Parchment verification requests are processed within 3-5 business days, and a verification certificate is sent electronically to the recipient indicated on the request. Parchment charges $3.00 plus any applicable taxes.

 

Community Partners and Government Agencies


  • Community partners and government agencies may request that organizational verification forms be completed free of charge. These forms will be processed within 5 business days and sent to the recipient indicated.

 

Third-Party Companies and Schools


  • Companies and schools may request enrollment or graduation verifications through National Student Clearinghouse or Parchment. Charges and processing time varies, but verifications will cost no more than $23.00 plus applicable taxes and should be processed within 5 business days.
  • Companies and schools that wish to avoid verification fees may obtains student permission to order a transcript through Parchment for $6.00 plus applicable taxes.
