Welcome to the Fitness Center


The Skagit Valley College Fitness Center is available for student and staff use Monday through Friday during each quarter. Student users must pay a fee of $20 per quarter. PE classes that use the facility as a part of coursework have the lab included as a part of tuition. If you would like to add the fee to use the facility during open hours, you must register for FCTR in registration and pay the fee at the cashier’s window. The Fitness Center schedule will vary from quarter to quarter and is available for PE classes only during the summer session.

Student Fitness

Additional recreational facilities are available for your use as a student, including the gymnasium, tennis courts and soccer fields. Skagit Valley Playfields, located to the northeast of campus, includes three softball fields, a baseball field, jogging trail with fitness stations, and a picnic shelter with tables and playgrounds.

Whidbey Island Fall Fitness Lab

Cost: $20 (payable to the cashier)

To use the fitness lab, you must be either:

  • registered as an SVC student for fall 2023, or
  • a faculty or staff member from SVC.

Fall Fitness Lab Hours*

Monday and Wednesday: 7:30 a.m.-8:30 p.m.
Tuesday and Thursday: 7:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. | 4:30-8:30 p.m.
Friday: 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m.
