PURPOSE
To conform to the Federal Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) regarding educational records.

POLICY
The eligible student who believes that information contained in his/her educational records is inaccurate or misleading or violates his/her privacy or other rights may request that the college amend these records. The Registrar will determine whether to amend the educational records.
PROCEDURES
- The eligible student who believes that information contained in his/her educational records is inaccurate or misleading or violates his/her privacy or other rights may request that the college amend these records.
- Student requests in writing to the registrar a review of his or her file.
- Student informs registrar as to the accuracy of content in writing.
- The college reserves the right to decide to amend the educational record.
- Student may not remove his/her official records from the registration designated area.
