Skagit Valley College Transcripts
Skagit Valley College makes both unofficial and official transcripts available to
its students. Official transcripts are issued by Enrollment Services and processed
by Parchment. In order for a transcript to be considered official, it must be sent
directly from Skagit Valley College to the recipient.
Ordering Official Transcripts
- Ordering through parchment.com allows SVC to send secure electronic transcripts to
the destination of your choice. Check with the receiving school or organization to
see if they accept electronic transcripts.
- Official electronic transcripts sent to your own email address will be considered unofficial upon receipt.
- If required by the receiving school or organization, you may request that Parchment
sends your transcript on paper via United States Postal Services (additional charges
will apply). Paper transcripts are usually considered official if the seal is unbroken.
- Once you have entered the Parchment site and are ready to request your transcript,
you will be prompted to enter your email address. If you already have a Parchment
account associated with that email, you will be prompted to sign in. If you do not
have a Parchment account associated with that email, you will be prompted to create
an account.

- Due to staffing limitations, SVC verifies and approves Parchment orders Tuesdays and
Thursdays. Please allow up to one week for processing.
- If you submit a rush paper order on Monday, Wednesday, or Friday, email enrollment@skagit.edu to notify us that you need expedited processing. Electronic and regular paper transcript requests will be processed in the order they are received.
Official Transcript Cost
Skagit Valley College and Parchment each charge a processing fee of $3 for a total
cost of $6 per electronic transcript requested. Paper transcripts are available for
additional shipping and handling charges.
Parchment will also charge any applicable sales tax. Sales tax will be collected on
documents requested, including transcripts and diplomas, in compliance with federal,
state, and local tax laws. This charge may affect the total cost of your request based
on various factors such as document type, delivery method, and location. You will
see a breakdown of charges, including any applicable taxes, before completing your
order.

Viewing Unofficial Transcripts
If you last took classes during or after Fall 2015
To view your entire unofficial transcript, you must use ctcLink student self-service.
Enrollment Services will not provide unofficial transcripts for students with ctcLink
student IDs unless there are extenuating circumstances.
If you last took classes before Fall 2015
Students who last attended SVC before Fall 2015 will need to request their unofficial transcripts from Enrollment Services. This is because records with no activity during or after fall 2015 were not converted into ctcLink and are only available in our legacy student management system which is not accessible to students.

Ordering GED® Transcripts
Any individual who has previously passed the GED® test and needs a transcript must make their request through GED®.com. SVC offers GED® preparation classes and serves as a GED® testing site, but we do not maintain GED® records.
