First Time SVC Students
Maybe you are a recent high school grad. Or, maybe you earned your diploma years ago and want to train for a new job. Now is the perfect time to get started. At Skagit, you will be joining a welcoming campus environment and supported by faculty and staff who are ready to help you meet your educational goals.
Returning SVC Students
Have you previously graduated from SVC? Or, maybe you are returning after some time away and want to finish your degree? We can assist you with evaluating your educational path based on your college history, and help you set goals that work for you.
Bachelor’s Degrees
Have you have earned an associate degree, or 90+ college-level credits? Are you ready to move on to a bachelor’s degree to advance your career and are looking for a program which works with your professional and personal life? SVC offers Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) degrees in Advanced Manufacturing and Design, Environmental Conservation, Healthcare Management, and Management. We also offer a four-year Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. In these programs, you will learn from faculty with real-world experience and join a student community with similar priorities and diverse perspectives.
High School Programs
If you are high school age, our programs including Running Start, CTE Dual Credit, College in the High School, or Open Doors can help you get a head start on college, re-engage with education, and explore rewarding careers.
Basic Education for Adults
We understand you would like to finish high school and we are ready to help you get you where you want to go, in a supportive way. With programs in high school completion, transitioning to a job, learning English, strengthening math, and college prep, we offer courses that are designed to help you succeed.
International Students
You are a student from outside the USA. You are interested in a college experience that provides a small, family-type learning environment with small class sizes and a manageable lifestyle. We have more than 200 students from 42 different countries who have chosen Skagit. Join our diverse campus environment!
Military and Veterans
You and your family have served your country with dedication and pride. Now, it is our turn to serve you. Skagit offers higher education that fits your life during or after your military service, as well as the support you need as you transition from military to civilian life.
dəxʷx̌ayəbus Dental Therapy Program
Are you passionate about improving the oral health of underserved communities? Skagit Valley College, in partnership with the Swinomish Indian Tribal Community, offers Washington State’s first Dental Therapy Education Program. Named dəxʷx̌ayəbus, or “Place of Smiles,” this program trains future dental professionals to deliver culturally responsive, high-quality care. Through a three-year, student-centered curriculum, you’ll gain hands-on experience in both classroom and clinical settings, preparing you to make a positive impact in the world of dental health.
