Are you looking to improve your family's future, but not sure where to start? The opportunity starts at Skagit Valley College. Our programs are designed for adults who may have experienced educational gaps or missed the opportunity to develop certain skills.

Why take Basic Education Classes at Skagit Valley College?

  • The cost is only $25 per quarter. You may take more than one class at no extra cost. A tuition waiver is available for those who qualify.

Students who are over the age of 21 can earn a competency-based high school diploma through this program.


Students who are over the age of 19 and are interested in earning a traditional high school diploma may be interested in this program.


This program prepares students to enter and successfully complete certificates and degrees in a number of professional and technical career fields.
